Vivacious Life was founded by three power women who were tired of fad diets, terrible Pinterest recipes, and unrealistic lifestyle expectations that make women feel less-than.
We provide programs and retreats that give women the space to recharge, refocus, and rekindle their confidence.
With all of life’s demands, it can be hard for women to take the time to love, nurture, and take care of themselves. This is a chance to take a break, have some self-compassion, and remember who you are. Come together with other women, just like you, to focus on self love, healthy food, and the skills to execute both realistically in your daily life.
Who we are:
Laura J Ingalls, Vivacious Life Co-founder and Health Coach
Coach Laura began her career as a professional actress. After enjoying great success on the stage she pursued formal education in the field of wellness, uncovering a deep passion for coaching, personal training, and holistic health. She developed and taught classes for the Orlando Weight Management and Nutrition Center in Orlando, FL, focusing on behavioral change group coaching and nutrition education. She also dovetailed her own passion for fitness into practical application for other athletes, becoming a marathon coach for Team in Training and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the largest endurance sports training program in the world.
After a move to Massachusetts, she worked as personal trainer for Get In Shape For Women before transitioning into the field of worksite wellness. As a Wellness Program Manager and Health Coach for AdvancingWellness, she co-developed and managed the wellness program for Web Industries, a Massachusetts-based manufacturing company of 350 employees in seven locations throughout the US. Under the guidance of Coach Laura and AdvancingWellness, the program at Web put a stop to the rise in insurance expenses for their employees in a record breaking 5 years.
In 2016 Laura launched a new website “F#@k Skinny,” (which is also the title of her best-selling book) for women who are sick of yo-yo dieting, tired of feeling frustrated with their bodies, and ready to eat and exercise in a way that makes them feel confident, healthy, and sexy!
Laura maintains her own fitness through an avid connection to the November Project, and by continuing to run races across the US. To date, Laura has raised thousands of dollars for charity as a marathon runner, cross-country relay runner, and Ironman triathlete.

Caitlin Green, Vivacious Life Co-Founder and Yoga Instructor and Life-coach
After spending a lot of time comparing herself to other actresses at a competetive performing arts college, she had a mortifying audition that caused her to do some deep work. She began studying yoga and meditation which helped her to calm her mind, ease anxiety, and stop worrying so much about what others thought. She spent three months working at a Children’s Home and School in Nepal teaching theater. It was a humbling experience and when she returned, she began studying yoga more seriously and became a yoga teacher. When Caitlin came back to Boston, she was a youth worker and educator in after-school programs and later became a drama teacher in the public schools. To her surpise, a fellow math teacher at her school asked her if she would give her some acting lessons to help be a better teacher. She started coaching this math teacher and fell in love with coaching adults. She enrolled in a life-coaching program and began coaching clients more regurally.
Along with teaching theater to kids, Caitlin has been teaching yoga in the Boston area for 5 years and life coaching for 3 years. Each month at multiple yoga studios in the Boston area, she leads a popular workshop called The Self Love Yoga Workshop, a deep self-care workshop combining guided meditation, restorative yoga, self myofascial massage, Reiki, aromatherapy, and themes on how to love yourself and feel better about your life. She also leads workshops and coaches clients on how to tame their inner critic and to express themselves more.
“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.”
